Job Description
Position Overview
The Public Sector Platform Architect (PA) in Impact at ServiceNow is a strategic technical leader responsible for guiding platform strategy, governance, and value delivery for public sector customers – specifically in large-scale, compliance-driven environments. This role blends deep technical expertise with consultative advisory skills to ensure ServiceNow solutions are successfully deployed, governed, and adopted.
The PA partners with Customer Success Manager, Customer Success Executives, Expert Service, Partners, and account teams to advise on enterprise-scale implementations, drive platform health, and deliver measurable outcomes across ServiceNow product families.
The ideal candidate has proven experience leading ServiceNow deployments across ITSM, ITOM, SecOps, IRM, CAM, SPM, and ITAM, and has operated as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders in complex federal environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Guide platform implementations ITSM (Incident, Change, Problem), ITOM (Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Cloud Accelerate with Azure/AWS), Security Operations (VR, SIR), Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Continuous Authorization Monitoring (CAM), SPM (Demand Management, Strategic Portfolio Workspace), and ITAM (SAM and HAM).
  • Provide governance oversight for platform health, CMDB strategy, cloud discovery, integrations, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Translate technical concepts into business outcomes, advising senior leaders on roadmaps, compliance alignment, and value realization.
  • Recommend leading practices, optimization opportunities, and innovation initiatives, including adoption of AI and automation capabilities.
  • Collaborate across multiple business units, partners, and stakeholders to ensure alignment, risk management, and operational readiness.
  • Mentor and enable architects, administrators, and platform leaders, reinforcing technical excellence and consistent delivery.
  • Advocate for ServiceNow as a strategic partner, establishing credibility and long-term trust with customer executives

  • Familiarity with large-scale cloud discovery and integrations (Azure and AWS)
  • Proven ability to govern and guide platform health, data strategy, compliance-driven environments, and large enterprise adoption.
  • Strong consultative skills: able to influence senior executives and cross-functional stakeholders with outcome-based roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical architecture into measurable business value.
