The impact you will have in this role: We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Network Automation Engineer with expertise in AI/ML technologies to join our Platform Engineering team. This role will focus on designing, developing, and deploying intelligent automation solutions to optimize network operations, enhance performance, and reduce manual intervention across our infrastructure. Your Primary Responsibilities: Design and implement network automation workflows using Python, Ansible, and other relevant tools. Integrate AI/ML models to predict network anomalies, optimize traffic routing, and enhance fault detection. Collaborate with data scientists and network engineers to build intelligent systems that improve operational efficiency. Develop APIs and microservices to support automation and orchestration platforms. Monitor and analyze network performance metrics using AI-driven insights. Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for network automation deployments. Document automation processes and provide training/support to operations teams. **NOTE: The Primary Responsibilities of this role are not limited to the details above. ** Qualifications: Bachelors / Masters or with equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience in network engineering and automation. Talents Needed for Success: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) and automation tools (Ansible, Terraform). Strong understanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, etc.). Experience with AI/ML frameworks. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SDN technologies. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Certifications: CCNP, DevNet, AWS/Azure Certified, or equivalent. Experience with network telemetry and observability platforms. Knowledge of MLOps practices and model deployment strategies. Experience with GitOps and Infrastructure as Code (IaC). Systems Thinking: Ability to understand and optimize complex, interconnected network environments. Innovation Mindset: Passion for exploring emerging technologies and applying AI/ML creatively to solve operational challenges. Automation First Mentality: Strong drive to eliminate manual tasks through scalable automation. Data-Driven Decision Making: Skilled in interpreting data and applying machine learning insights to guide network strategies. The salary range is indicative for roles at the same level within DTCC across all US locations.
