Lead hands-on activities, from proof of concept to design reviews and urgent operational challenges, driving innovative solutions. Adapt quickly to diverse technologies—legacy, SaaS, or emerging like GenAI—bringing modern engineering practices to varied environments. Guide cross-team decision making based on sound engineering principles, balancing technical needs over delivery timing. Collaborate with product owners to shape and prioritise technical roadmaps, aligning executive stakeholders around key trade-offs. Deliver expert advice in architecture and solution design, resolving complex challenges in performance, security, and business impact. Model commercial thinking across teams, effectively balancing cost and value for impactful outcomes; experienced in engaging broad stakeholder groups. Drive organisation-wide testing strategy using metrics to identify gaps, tailoring frameworks for large, multi-team missions, and extending Telstra testing capabilities. Maintain cutting-edge expertise in platform engineering and emerging technologies, actively coaching and mentoring peers. Ensure robust, production-ready code with thorough error and edge case handling, applying systematic debugging across related domains. About you You’re currently based in Bengaluru, for in-person connects with your colleagues 15+ years in Software Engineering and DevOps, with strong expertise in Java, Python, and additional programming languages, as well as and front-end technologies, understanding full stack relationships. Skilled in API frameworks, microservices, and Spring Boot Proficient in deployment, automation, and configuration management tools. Hands-on experience in capability development, cloud-native solutions, code reviews, and secure coding practices. Proven track record in agile project delivery and leadership, with a focus on coaching and strategic alignment. Experience in delivering projects as part of an agile team. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on coaching, strong decision making and ability to align the vision and strategy.
