EDUCATION QUALIFICATION & ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCES

  • A bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or a related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in specific module process engineering, possessing in-depth technical knowledge.
  • Experience working in a 12” (300mm) semiconductor fabrication facilities would be advantageous.
  • Opportunity to travel to overseas for training (subject to business needs and expectation).

Responsibilities

ROLE SUMMARY

You will be responsible to deliver robust and efficient semiconductor manufacturing process with data driven analytics and systemic problem-solving skills in the specific module (Diffusion, Etching, Photolithography, PVD, TF (CVD/CMP), WET or Metrology).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide expert technical support to ensure stable and efficient daily manufacturing operations; proactively lead the resolution of complex issues impacting yield, quality, or throughput.
  • Actively lead cross-functional collaborations with internal teams, equipment/material suppliers, and external partners to identify critical technology gaps; champion development, evaluation, and qualification of advanced corrective and preventive solutions.
  • Strategically plan, scale up and sustain high-volume manufacturing processes with an emphasis on operational excellence, speed, and quality.
  • Drive and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process stability, yield, reliability, productivity, and safety; mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of data-driven innovation and technical excellence.
  • Design, lead, and interpret complex experiments; extract key insights from large datasets using advanced analytical and statistical tools to optimize manufacturing performance and process control.
  • Implement and refine statistical process control (SPC) systems and process monitoring strategies to ensure robust, high-yield production processes.
  • Provide technical guidance during technology transfers, process integrations, and new product introductions to ensure seamless transitions and high-quality outcomes.
