The successful person will be responsible for strategic and tactical Process Engineering support to Operations and Projects and the related safety, production, cost Improvement initiatives, and for the delivery of effective on-line analysis services to support day-to-day process plant operations.
You will be responsible for:
Demonstrating high levels of technical excellence, be a self-starter and demonstrate proactive leadership in the resolution of difficult issues as well as the execution of medium to long-term strategic projects
Providing Production Departments with high-level technical support enabling the continued operation of the plant in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
Reviewing and contributing to process design, equipment selection and control philosophy
Overseeing the preparation of technical reports on project studies and mini-plant trials
Liaising with the Area Process Engineers to ensure plant performance, consumables and key process parameters are optimised
Leading small teams of engineers as required on specific projects
