At ITEC we design and build high-volume, high-speed, and high-accuracy machines that enable our customers to assemble and test 250 million semiconductors every single day. Are you an experienced Process Engineer who thrives in an environment where micrometers matter and innovation drives every design choice? We are looking for a Principal Process Engineer who will be focused on developing and optimizing the process steps of the ITEC Advance Semiconductor Die bonding systems. Your task will be to design processes that can run at a high production speed (>70.000 units/hour) but maintain high quality and high yield figures in a 24/7, 365-day volume production. We value your experience and ideas For designing these processes and equipment you will be working in multi-disciplinary project teams where you will have strong interaction and collaboration with all other technical disciplines (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, SW, Vision) where you will be involved in all phases of the Development project. You will have the freedom to innovate, the responsibility to lead, and the opportunity to influence products that shape the semiconductor industry worldwide. Your Responsibilities Involved from design & specification phase till the actual implementation and testing phase. Doing risk assessments and writing test protocols. In the final phase hands-on testing the process capability of the new/modified process in our lab in Nijmegen before releasing a process at the end customer. Closely working together with the quality department, the Product Specialist and the Service Engineers located all over the world. Outside the ITEC organization you work with suppliers of process materials (Wafers, adhesives) and customers in Semiconductor back-end and RF-ID label production. Your Profile You are an engineering professional with a pragmatic mindset, and a passion for high‑precision technology. You enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and working in a fast‑paced, cutting‑edge environment.
