Responsibilities
  1. Ensure delivery of client focussed procurement services, advice and training in accordance with agency and government
    policies and practices, including development of education material and intranet resources.
  2. Provide support, guidance and training to agency staff on procurement policy and procedures and contract management with
    a focus on increasing agency capability, including development of education material and intranet resources.
  3. Develop reports and deliver briefings on the agency’s procurement activities to meet internal and external requirements.
    Prepare Request for Tender documents incorporating technical specifications provided by agencies, resolve enquiries from
    prospective tenderers, and prepare tender specific evaluation reports to assist agencies to undertake tender assessment.
  4. Continuously monitor work to ensure the quantity, quality and timeliness of outputs is equal to, or better than, the agreed key
    performance indicators.
  5. Initiate, research, recommend, implement and monitor the performance of new initiatives, work procedures, practices and
    systems to improve procurement efficiency and outcomes.
  6. Supervise and support the team to deliver client focussed procurement services and provide advice and training including
    development of education material and intranet resources.
