(Saudi National Only) Grade: G05 Location: DHAHRAN Working hours: full time Advert closing: 16/03/2026 ROLE DESCRIPTION: To contribute to and supervise the procurement activities of the line of business, ensuring that business success is maximised in line with agreed targets. To ensure all legally binding Company commitments are agreed in accordance with BAE Systems Saudi Arabia policies and procedures. Responsibilities: Produce a full range of contract/ subcontract documentation for assigned areas in line with all relevant BAE Systems Saudi Arabia requirements and procedures • In line with DOA, lead or actively participate in and support others in contract/ subcontract negotiations with all relevant parties to facilitate the smooth and successful conclusion of negotiations • Support contract management and manage subcontracts, ensuring the efficient and effective resolution of issues. • Prepare and issue purchase orders for subcontractors/suppliers in accordance with established procurement policies, issue requests for proposals and verify invoices prior to payment. • Support and implement pricing and payment strategies and policies in assigned areas, in accordance with all relevant BAE Systems Saudi Arabia requirements and procedures • Support and implement overall financial targets and budgetary management strategies in assigned areas • Identify potential areas of risk and carry out risk analyses and assessments to support the minimisation of risk. • Contribute to building, managing and maintaining relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure the effective management of business agreements and contracts from the cradle to the grave • Actively support procurement issues to facilitate effective business decision-making and the effective resolution of issues and disputes, including customer complaints. • Monitor sub-contractors’ commercial activities – including terms and conditions and price negotiations – to ensure that quality and cost are maintained to enable contractual obligations to be met. • Lead, develop and motivate any assigned staff to ensure they are aware of and capable of delivering their responsibilities. • Contribute to the development of the Functional Governance Manual and the Procurement Manual and implement them in assigned standard areas to support improved business effectiveness. • Keep up to date with and research new procurement developments in assigned areas and assist in assessing their advantage to the company. • Liaison with internal and external suppliers and customers as appropriate. • Support interfaces with Finance, Legal, HR and Group Tax to help establish effective contracting and pricing models. • Tender analysis and administration. • Production of Procurement plans in support of LCM. Job Requirements: Relevant Degree or equivalent and c. 6+ years commercial/procurement experience • Good knowledge of business unit financial/commercial/procurement policies • Track record of contributing to the management of contractual issues • A thorough understanding and comprehension of Commercial Contracts & Law • Proven negotiating skills • Wide ranging experience of dealing with domestic and international suppliers • Accredited by the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) or the International Association for Contracts and Commercial Management (IACCM) or equivalent SAUDI NATIONAL EMPLOYEE BENEFITS In return for the required high levels of commitment and hard work you will receive a competitive salary and benefits package, including a generous leave and leave allowance, a full health care scheme and access to discounted gym membership.
