THE ROLE

As a Principal Product Analyst for Onboarding, Nudges and Notifications, you will play a pivotal role in shaping some of Zalando’s critical customer journeys. From welcoming new users to guiding them back with timely and relevant notifications, your insights will power our onboarding and activation flows that help customers quickly understand Zalando’s value and guide them to actions that deepen their engagement. You’ll turn data into actionable product strategies and experiences that feel personal and inspiring, directly influencing how customers discover fashion and how Zalando becomes their trusted starting point for style.

WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING)

  • Drive measurement and generate insights for Zalando’s onboarding and new user journeys, ensuring every step – from registration to first purchase and building loyalty – is optimized through data-driven insights.
  • Drive measurement and generate insights for developing the steering mechanism that drives impactful nudging towards high-value actions across the entire user journey.
  • Drive measurement and generate insights on timely and personally relevant notifications to optimize user engagement and retention.
  • Define, align, and evolve KPIs across these experiences, working closely with Product, Data Science, Engineering, and Design stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain a robust measurement framework for Onboarding, Nudges and Notifications, covering everything from activation, engagement, conversion to retention and long-term customer value.
  • Design and analyze A/B tests and experiments to measure the impact and help optimize onboarding and activation flows, personalized nudges, and notifications.
  • Deliver insights that influence product decisions, roadmap priorities, and investment into onboarding and navigation experiences.
  • Build and iterate on dashboards and reporting tools to democratize access to KPIs across the company.
  • Serve as a strategic sparring partner by providing actionable performance feedback and recommendations at scale
