POSITION: PRINCIPAL PRODUCT DESIGNER

We’re seeking a Principal Product Designer to drive the next wave of innovation and user-focused design in our AI-powered SaaS solutions. You bring at least 5 years of experience, with a strong foundation in data visualizations, dashboards, and conversational interfaces like chatbots, alongside proven leadership in design. Your role will be pivotal in shaping experiences that make complex insights and AI interactions simple, engaging, and intuitive for our customers.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product design, with a strong focus on data visualizations and dashboards.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and mentor junior designers.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Understanding of UX principles and the ability to champion user-centric design.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience with conversational AI and AI chatbot design
• Proficient in Figma with expertise in wireframing, components, styles, high-fidelity UI, interactive prototypes
• Experience creating scalable design systems.
• Experience using collaborative workflows across teams.
• Familiarity with core concepts of React, Express, and related frameworks
• An understanding of how APIs function and connect to web applications.
• Proficiency in using design tools such as Zeplin for collaboration and handoff
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools (e.g., D3.js, Tableau)
• Familiarity with core concepts of React, Express, and related frameworks is a plus
• Understanding of how APIs work and how they connect to web applications
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead the design strategy, vision, and execution of our SaaS products, focusing on data visualizations and dashboards.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and data scientists, to define and implement user-centered designs.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.
• Conduct user research to understand our customers’ needs, and leverage these insights to inform your design decisions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs to communicate your vision to the development team.
• Ensure consistent and cohesive design across our product suite.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and understand product requirements
• Design and create user interfaces for web applications using React and other UI frameworks
• Develop and maintain front-end code for web applications
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to effectively communicate design ideas
• Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal user experience across different devices
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs
• Work closely with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in product design
