We are looking for ambitious and driven individuals interested in designing the future of financial services and shaping unique customer experiences. The role will be part of a team dedicated to building incredible products that materially improve the financial success and security of millions of Canadians. In this role, designers will help define the user experience strategy for new products, and work alongside engineers, researchers, marketers, product managers, and our leadership team to launch those products to market. These designers have got a strong and differentiated perspective on design which should be evident through their craft and creativity, a bias for action, and an entrepreneurial spirit.

  • Define the design direction and vision for new and innovative financial products – while some products will exist within the existing Questrade product, others will be brand new so you’ll be establish entirely new design directions
  • Create unmatched user experiences that change the status quo and create genuine moments of delight
  • Write, design, and test engaging copy that will drive real customer action
  • Apply user research and data-backed insights to guide design decisions that drive impactful business outcomes
  • Be agile, nimble, and thoughtful on when to go deep and when to build the MVP that gets the job done
  • Collaborate intensively with engineering, research, marketing, product and other stakeholders to solve design and product challenges

Additional kudos if you…

  • Proficiency with Figma and experience conducting meaningful user research to continuously iterate product design
  • Strong collaboration and storytelling skills
  • Written skills for shaping content design in both web and mobile applications

Additional Information…

  • 5+ years of experience UX/UI, graphic design, product design
  • Creative portfolio showcasing passion for craft, and excellent design sensibility
  • Proven experience launching innovative and impactful products (bonus points if worked on or launched financial products before)
