Description

At Webflow, our mission is to bring development superpowers to everyone. As the pioneer of the Website Experience Platform (WXP), we’re redefining how teams Build, Manage, and Optimize for the web — combining visual development, powerful content management systems, AI-driven personalization, seamless hosting, and end-to-end analytics in a single, unified platform. With AI at the core, Webflow helps teams move faster, create more performant digital experiences, and scale without heavy engineering support. From independent designers and creative agencies to global enterprises, hundreds of thousands of organizations use Webflow to turn ideas into reality — and to power what’s possible on the web.
We are seeking a visionary Principal Product Designer (IC Director) to help lead our AI efforts and shape the future of building on the web, giving teams the superpowers to create experiences that interact with people on a new level of sophistication and personalization. This is not about building a feature or product, but a transformation of an entire platform at each stage of the development process, that applies to the best of our knowledge what it means to be a builder. This role involves deep collaboration across teams to strategize, explore, validate, and build solutions, and will require deep dives into data, journeys, and technical architecture to build experiences and tools that cater to diverse team sizes and roles.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of launching user-centric products that pushes the brand forward, operating at both strategic and tactical levels, and driving alignment across cross-functional teams and product areas. This person should be equally comfortable defining long-term vision and sweating the details of design execution, and excel at distilling complex, technical concepts into simple and highly crafted experiences.
