We are looking for an experienced Principal Product Manager Architect with passion for technology, operating scaled platform, customer obsession and delivering measurable impact. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of product management, business decisions, and data with high leadership visibility. This position will bring a balanced set of incubation, design, growth engineering, customer focus, and execution skills. The position requires you to work with product leaders and architects across the company, has executive exposure, requires you to mentor other Product Managers to be the cultural champions and adopt the best practices.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree AND 10+ years’ experience in product/service/project/program management or software development
• OR equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 6+ years of experience in shipping large scale enterprise software products.
• Experience in working with customers to understand their use cases and distill requirements.
• Problem-solving skills with technical proficiency and strategic thinking.
• Ability to innovate at a platform level and drive integrated, end-to-end solutions.
• Skilled cross divisional relationship building skills and ability to collaborate with partners, ability to pull together technology and expertise across M365, Windows and Azure, to drive clarity across teams and establish long lasting, trusted relationship with partner teams.
• Ability to drive for results and influence for impact, ability to drive clarity, communicate goals to key stakeholders, and motivate them to execute on time and at a high quality.
• Proactively identifies problems, proposes solutions, with demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity.
• Prior experience working on Cloud platforms, Kubernetes, Linux.
• Able to look at the big-picture view and dive deep in service designs as needed.
• Ability to work across team boundaries to get things done.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and result oriented.
  Product Management IC6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $161,600 - $286,200 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $209,600 - $314,400 per year.

• Evaluate & Ideate: Evaluate the current services’ architecture and define the platform transformation strategy, improving and balancing the key fundamental - Latency, Resilience, Efficiency and Capacity at scale.
• Collaborate: Form deep partnerships with service teams and drive governance for improvements across the M365. Establish and manage the regular rhythm of business forums to push for actionable insights for leaders.
• Data Driven: Drive data-driven decisions based on customer and platform signals. Our Platform is used to power of hundreds of features across Microsoft 365 products, which are used by 100s of millions of users per month.
• Coach: Mentor other team members to help them to do their best work. Model what it means to excel as a product manager.
• Be a self-starter, learn quickly with a growth mindset and ability to deal with a lot of ambiguity.
