As Principal Product Manager in our Customer Facing Applications Team, you will be owning the product vision and strategy for your product domain and directly shape the experience for 8 million customers. Your decisions will have an immediate impact on customer lifetime value and the overall growth of Lounge by Zalando. You will be equipped to explore and implement cutting-edge technologies, including AI and personalization, to drive innovation and to take bold risks to learn and iterate fast.

  • Focus on Vision & Execution: Define and champion a compelling long-term product vision and strategy for a broad problem space, while simultaneously driving rapid, iterative execution and delivery of impactful improvements that contribute to that vision.
  • Fast Paced Innovation: Challenge existing paradigms and introduce outside-the-box solutions that leverage state-of-the art technologies, taking an MVP approach to smartly de-risk and ensuring speedy progress
  • Customer Obsessed & Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage data-driven insights and experimentation to inform product decisions, always working backwards from a deep customer understanding and empathy
  • Owning Your Product and Team: Take full ownership for the ROI of your product and cross-functional team, including owning and managing the backlog, driving collaboration across the organisation and maximizing velocity
  • Promote & Influence: Foster strong collaboration and communication across the organization, including senior management, to secure buy-in and support for your product priorities
  • Mentor & Shape: Coach more junior product colleagues and work with the wider product and tech community to continuously lift the bar in our product development and culture
