THE ROLE AND THE TEAM

Fulfilment Core within Zalando builds and operates systems that are at the core of Zalando’s platform strategy and ensure timely, efficient and correct delivery of every one of our customers’ 185+ million orders every year.
As a Principal Product Manager in the Inventory domain of Fulfillment Core, you will work on discovering and building key capabilities to contribute to our growth. You will be collaborating closely with a wide range of peers and stakeholders across our business, defining and building key capabilities that shape the future of inventory management and help us create game-changing fulfillment capabilities at Zalando. You’ll focus on creating a platform that is flexible and transparent, providing our clients with reliable data and an easy-to-use experience to meet their unique needs.

  • Lead and shape the product strategy and roadmap for your product area in the inventory domain.
  • Be a company-wide thought leader in your area, using your deep understanding of the problem space, client needs, and our business to identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Collaborate across multiple business units to solve complex, high-impact problems, building long-lasting relationships with stakeholders and peers based on mutual trust and respect.
  • Act as a true partner to engineering counterparts, collaboratively setting priorities and improving team processes to achieve sustainable, long-term impact.
  • Lead with an iterative mindset, breaking down complex, multi-faceted problems and using the right structuring techniques to help others understand the topic and make them actionable
  • Define clear KPIs and metrics for your product, consistently using data and analytics to validate assumptions and measure the impact of your work.
