Overview Own the desktop-class and web user experience for Microsoft AI. Set the bar for Copilot experiences on macOS and web that are beautiful, accessible, and fast—crafting information architecture, interaction patterns, and performance goals across breakpoints. Deliver best-in-class Mac & Web experiences at Microsoft AI by driving strategy and execution for cross-platform journeys that delight users and scale globally. What we're looking for A PM leader who: Ships user-facing desktop and web products with high UX fidelity and accessibility. Partners deeply with Design Systems to scale components and tokens across surfaces. Balances performance and fidelity with rigorous experimentation and telemetry. Aligns multi-team dependencies to deliver cohesive cross-platform experiences. Brings deep understanding of web engineering systems (e.g., server-side rendering). Mentors PMs and improves decision quality and operating rhythms. Builds and grows a world-class PM team. This expectation is subject to local law and may vary by jurisdiction. Responsibilities Own cross-platform desktop/web strategy: IA, interaction patterns, component reuse. Define performance & reliability KPIs (FMP, input latency, memory) and lead experimentation. Partner with Design on design-system alignment, accessibility, and internationalization. Coordinate dependencies across stakeholders to ensure timely delivery. Coach PMs; evolve operating rhythms and decision quality across teams. Build and scale a high-performing PM team. Qualifications Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in STEM or related field AND 8+ years in Product Management (or equivalent). Proven track record shipping desktop and/or web experiences at scale. Strong system-level thinking across platform capabilities and browser constraints. Preferred Qualifications Design/UX background strongly preferred. Deep familiarity with macOS HIG and modern web app foundations (React, TypeScript, performance tooling). Experience with AI-powered features and data-informed product iteration. Product Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $163,000 - $296,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $220,800 - $331,200 per year.
