Job Description Our customers are at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be pivotal to successful delivery to our customers, ensuring we are in seamless connection with our customers every step of the way, driving to collective success. You’ll take ownership of delivery of our systems from specification to commissioning at our customer’s site. This will be achieved though relentlessly driving the collaboration between our internal teams and those of our customers. Startup & Initiation: Partner with our Commercial and Engineering teams to craft project briefs and develop comprehensive delivery plans. Execution & Monitoring: Become the trusted partner for our customers in understanding their needs and priorities in relentlessly driving the delivery plan. Completion & Documentation: Ensure each programme concludes with all requirements met, and the necessary documentation and associated handover completed to the satisfaction of our customers. We're looking for someone who thrives in building deep relationships with external customers, with expert skills in coordinating and influencing large multi-organisation teams with many moving parts, different perspectives and very high expectations. You’ll have a knack for bringing people together, motivating everyone toward shared objectives while adeptly resolving trade-offs as they arise. Hard-won previous experience will help maintain clear structures that define roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities, to ensure smooth delivery. You’ll develop and maintain the over-arching programme schedules, budgets and forecasts and ensure all related plans (including those of our customers) are interfaced appropriately. Lastly, quality and risk management will also be key aspects of your role, ensuring that project output consistently meets stakeholder requirements while proactively mitigating risks as they emerge. Qualifications Educated to degree level (or equivalent), ideally in a STEM subject. Proven experience leading significant programmes in life science-related automation or a similar field; for example, manufacturing automation, instrumentation, consumer products. A strong preference for experience gained delivering into large organisations and navigating the inherent complexity of these. A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering complex automation programmes on highly accelerated timescales. The ability to build and nurture strong and trusting relationships at all levels, especially in customer organisations. Ability to assimilate and summarise complex information and drive decision-making. Competent using a range of IT systems at an advanced level, e.g. MS Office and Project, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence, etc. Experience of working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System, or similar.
