Description
Company Description Cell therapies are redefining what’s possible in medicine, curing diseases once thought untreatable by reprogramming a patient’s own immune system. But to make these treatments available to everyone who needs them, the world needs a revolution in manufacturing and automation. That’s where we come in, and where you could too. At Cellular Origins, a TTP company, we’re enabling the manufacture of cell therapies at scale. Our Constellation platform uses advanced robotics and intelligent automation to transform how these therapies are made, cutting costs, reducing labour, eliminating error, and unlocking true scalability. We’re helping bring life-changing treatments to more patients, faster. We’re now expanding our team and have multiple openings for Principal Programme Managers to drive delivery excellence as we scale up our automation programmes. Job Description You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy building deep, trust-based relationships with customers and leading large, multi-organisation teams where there are many moving parts, different perspectives, and high expectations. You’ll get to use your knack for bringing people together, motivating teams around shared objectives, and finding the balance when trade-offs arise. You’ll create strategies and structures to build momentum. By owning the over-arching programme schedules, budgets, and forecasts, you’ll have the tools to ensure plans align across internal teams and customer programmes. Quality and risk management will sit at the core of your work. This is about anticipating challenges early, maintaining open communication, and ensuring every system we deliver meets expectations in both performance and reliability. What you’ll do: You’ll oversee every phase of programme delivery, from the spark of a customer’s idea to the moment their system comes to life. Startup & Initiation: Partner with our Commercial and Engineering teams to shape project briefs and delivery plans that set the foundation for success. Execution & Monitoring: Act as the trusted partner to our customers, ensuring their priorities are understood, communicated, and relentlessly delivered. Completion & Handover: Oversee documentation, validation, and commissioning to ensure every programme ends with complete customer satisfaction. Maintain and evolve programme schedules, budgets, and forecasts across internal and customer teams. Embed best practice in quality and risk management, ensuring delivery excellence at every step. Qualifications You’re an experienced technical programme leader who brings order to complexity and motivation to teams. You balance strategy with detail, always keeping sight of the customer’s goals. Degree (or equivalent) in a STEM discipline. Proven experience leading large, multi-organisation programmes in life sciences automation, manufacturing, or a related field. PRINCE2, PMP, or equivalent professional qualification. Strong experience working with large, complex customer organisations. Demonstrated success delivering automation programmes at speed and scale. Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills. Confident using advanced IT systems (MS Project, Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, etc.). Familiarity with ISO 9001 or equivalent quality frameworks. Additional Information Cellular Origins is based on the TTP Campus, within purpose-built sustainable offices, labs and green surroundings, 10 miles south of Cambridge.
