Job Description Lead end-to-end delivery of major rail and transit infrastructure projects across all phases (planning, design, procurement, construction, handover) Manage scope, schedule, budget, and risk, ensuring successful commercial and project outcomes Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships, including government agencies and contractors Oversee contract management and procurement strategies (D&C, Alliance, PPP models) Lead and develop multidisciplinary project teams, driving performance, collaboration, and safety Ensure compliance with rail safety, regulatory, and governance requirements (including ONRSR and Australian standards) Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline 15+ years of experience delivering major infrastructure projects, with strong focus on rail and transit Proven track record managing large-scale, complex programs (multi-million/billion-dollar projects) Strong knowledge of Australian rail sector, delivery models, and contracts (D&C, Alliance, PPP) Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent (desirable) Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, leadership, and commercial/project controls Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
