Description

The Role: We are building a cloud-native platform with AI as the baseline. AI is not a feature layer. It defines how systems are designed, how quality signals are structured, and how engineers think before building. AI in the product starts from system design, data modeling, and testability. QA engineers here are quality builders who own end-to-end validation. You think about automation architecture, scale, reliability, security, and distributed systems before using AI tools. You own quality from design through testing, release, and production operations. Tasks: * Lead quality strategy for complex cloud services and cross-service workflows * Define automation architecture for services, data flows, API contracts, and AI-driven features across teams * Make key decisions on: * test automation frameworks and maintainability * performance engineering strategy and load models * security testing scope, threat validation, and release gates * Establish and enforce best practices for: * quality metrics and release readiness * CI/CD quality gates and observability * risk-based testing for cloud-native and AI-first systems * Drive reliability, performance, security, and cost-of-quality improvements at scale * Lead quality reviews and mentor senior QA engineers * Own resolution of complex production quality issues involving multiple systems * Influence how AI is validated in product and platform design * Collaborate across teams to align quality architecture and delivery Qualifications: * University degree in computer science, mathematics, IT or relevant professional experience with qualified technical training * 10 to 14 years of relevant QA, automation, or cloud platform quality experience * Expert fundamentals in distributed systems, cloud-native architecture, test automation, performance engineering, and security testing * Experience defining quality metrics, release gates, observability, and production quality practices across teams * Ability to use AI tools effectively while applying engineering judgment and test design discipline * Working under minimal supervision * Takes responsibility proactively and provides quality leadership across teams Interested?
