Job Description AECOM is seeking a Principal RAMS Engineer to join our growing Rail team in Sydney. In this role, you will lead and deliver reliability, availability, maintainability and safety (RAMS) activities across major transport infrastructure projects. You will play a key role in developing assurance strategies, managing hazard identification and risk assessment processes, and supporting the delivery of robust safety cases. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you will help ensure systems are safe, reliable and ready for operation. How you’ll make a difference Lead RAMS and safety assurance activities across project lifecycles Develop RAM plans, hazard logs and safety cases Perform and review FMECA, FTA and reliability analyses Ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g. EN 50126/8/9) Engage with clients and stakeholders to manage assurance requirements Mentor and support junior engineers Qualifications The qualities that help you thrive The following qualifications and experience are highly desired, but if you don’t tick all the boxes you could still be a perfect fit for this role.
