Responsibilities

THE PRINCIPAL RESEARCH AND INFORMATION OFFICER ROLE:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Principal Research and Information Officer to join our Income team!
As one of our Principal Research and Information Officers, you’ll play a key role in providing a responsive, professional and customer focused IT service providing business and performance information to management, colleagues, and other stakeholders whilst undertaking research in relation to service improvements and changes within the housing sector.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF OUR PRINCIPAL RESEARCH AND INFORMATION OFFICER:

  • Work closely with various stakeholders to ensure the successful management and implementation of ICT developments and / or projects, working with managers to find technological and business solutions to problems.
  • Analyse information, undertake research and provide reports across the company, including submitting accurate statutory statistical returns on behalf of the company.
  • Understand business processes and have the ability to balance customer needs with business goals in developing and delivering solutions.
  • Be the IT lead on projects ensuring a detailed understanding of current data structures and systems are taken into consideration, including interpreting complex guidance and technical documentation ensuring systems are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure information requirements conform to legislation (I.e., Data Protection, Equality & Inclusion etc), and ensuring that security procedures meet the requirements of internal audit/information security requirements.
