Principal Revenue Accounting Specialist Job Requisition Location: Noida Job Type: Full-Time We are seeking dedicated and skilled Lead Revenue Accounting Specialist to join our team and contribute to the success of our subscription and usage billing operations. Position Overview: The Lead Revenue Accounting Specialist will play an integral role within the Billing Operations team, overseeing the day-to-day management and execution of subscription and usage-based billing processes. This role includes the review and validation of credit submissions within both Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce Credit Center, ensuring accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, operational expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. A solid background in revenue accounting and billing operations is essential, along with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams. Additionally, this position will serve as a resource and mentor to the Noida team, providing guidance and support on complex billing and credit-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities: • Daily Operations: Execute and oversee day-to-day subscription and usage of billing activities, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with established policies. • Credit Review: Review and validate credit submissions in both Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce Credit Center daily to ensure proper documentation and coding. • Reconciliation: Complete daily credit reconciliations, identifying and resolving variances promptly. • Data Analysis: Analyze billing data to detect discrepancies, trends, and improvement opportunities; take corrective action as needed. • Process Management: Maintain and enhance billing systems, tools, and workflows to drive efficiency and accuracy in operations. • Customer & Stakeholder Support: Provide knowledgeable support for internal stakeholders and customers, addressing billing inquiries and resolving issues effectively. • Collaboration: Partner closely with Billing Operations team members and cross-functional departments—including Finance, Revenue Accounting, and Collections—to ensure seamless end-to-end billing processes. • Compliance: Ensure adherence to revenue recognition and internal control policies, maintaining accurate documentation and audit trails. • Team Leadership: Serve as a working lead, supporting and guiding team members, particularly the Noida team, by answering questions, reviewing work, and fostering development. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. • 4–6 years of experience in revenue accounting or billing operations, ideally within a SaaS or subscription-based organization. • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics (D365) and Salesforce; experience with BI and reporting tools preferred. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills. • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a focus on cross-functional collaboration. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, quality, and process improvement. • Proven leadership experience in a similar role, with the ability to guide and support team members effectively.
