ABOUT YOU:

• Undergraduate Degree in relevant discipline or relevant industry experience.
• Relevant PhD or equivalent postgraduate experience to demonstrate deep subject matter expertise within Toxicology for Early/ Drug Discovery and/or within product safety for Agrochemicals, Chemicals, Cosmetics and Food
• Understanding of OECD guidelines for Toxicology assays
• Understanding of ECHA, REACH, EPA regulations for product safety testing and knowledge of Adverse Outcome Pathways
• Additional research experience gained in a CRO, Academic, Biotech, or Pharma environment.
• Experience as a Project Manager, Study Director or Principal Investigator (on regulated studies where applicable)
• GXP experience preferable
• Meets accountabilities in preceding job roles and has demonstrated effective scientific expertise.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking a highly experienced Toxicologist to join out dedicated team of scientist. Your experience and skills will help drive our strategic approach with Pharma and non- pharma Toxicology at Concept Life Sciences. In this exciting role you will work alongside experienced scientists, with innovative approaches to help support drug discovery goals of our clients and/ or regulatory submission for product safety testing. Role is primarily based at Dundee but supporting business-wide.
Salary: £42,000.00-£50,000.00 per year - Depending on experience.

As a Principal Scientist you will work on a variety of client projects, providing strategic leadership to promote growth, efficiency and advancement of the toxicology service within CLS- calling for a passionate and committed Scientist with a credible and a proven background in this exciting field of Toxicology.
