Position Summary:
Odyssey Systems is recruiting to fill a Principal SIGINT Systems Engineer Support-Test & Evaluation engineering position supporting the WIN Sensors Division at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. WIN is part of the ISR/SOF Directorate (AFLCMC/WI), who is responsible for equipping our warfighters to win the fight. The Directorate executes a $22 billion acquisition portfolio developing, producing, testing, modifying, fielding, and supporting Air Force ISR and SOF platforms, and related sub-systems. The WIN ISR Sensors Division is headquartered at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB) and has the collective Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) mission responsibility for equipping ISR & SOF warfighters to dominate the battle-space. Education and Years of Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctorate Degree in a related field and 20 years of experience in the respective technical / professional discipline being performed, 12 years of which must be in the DoD.
  • OR bachelor’s degree in a related field and 25 years of experience in the respective technical/professional discipline being performed, 15 of which must be in the DoD.

Responsibilities
  • Possess the knowledge, experience, and recognized ability to be considered highly skilled in program management and system engineering, focused on cutting edge technology transition planning for a programmable C4ISR multi-mission, multi-service system that can simultaneously conduct communication relay and translation, SIGINT, EW and information operations.
  • Provide test and evaluation support for the Airborne Signals Intelligence Payload (ASIP) system.
  • Provide expertise necessary to assist in the designing, planning, execution, analysis, and reporting phases of test and evaluation programs (including any applicable FAA certifications and procedures) to assess the performance of aeronautical systems, subsystems, and equipment, as they progress through the various acquisition phases/milestones.
  • Will assist with preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing the full range of test and test-related documentation for adequacy, specification/performance requirement compliance, conformity with mandatory guidance, and providing recommendations as necessary for improvement.
  • Provide recommendations on integrated data processing, software, and analysis considerations.
  • Support and participate in integrated test teams, test readiness reviews and other test related program events as necessary.
  • Assist with performing data analysis using modeling and simulation techniques, models, computer simulations, or other tools/methods as necessary.
  • Apply experience with AF acquisition management, C4ISR systems, and systems integration management experience solving organizational, communications and program execution issues.
  • Present creative solutions to service organizations that are locked into multi-year schedules and systems.
