POSITION SUMMARY

In this role and within this team, you will :
- Work on applications and products that are on the forefront of technology.
- Partner with application owners, business partners and peer groups regarding long and short-range technical solutions that meet business requirements.
- Analyze and contribute to project and business requirements based on product team milestones and priority.
- Be a technologist and work with other Engineers in planning, prioritizing and performing assigned tasks within deadlines
- Will be responsible for end-to-end application development & delivery including production deployment, application operationalization, and observability.
- Develops solutions that are well engineered, flexible, resilient, operable, maintainable, and can be delivered on schedule. Ensures a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions.
- Develop applications/web services and cloud native apps using Sprint boot , GCP, REST API and other tech stacks (Open source and proprietary)
- Experience working with technologies that work as glue between modern apps and legacy infrastructure leveraging streaming platforms like Apache Kafka
- Specializes in using Graph QL schema and APIs. Troubleshoots and resolves performance issues, scalability and responsiveness.
- Hands-on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and hands-on expertise with automating processes.
- Build and deploy services using GitHub, CircleCI, Harness as part of CI/CD process in leading Cloud Platforms - AWS, GCP or Azure etc.
- Experienced in automated testing framework like Cucumber, JBehave, JUNIT etc.
- Be responsible to monitor App health and KPIs, support triage of any production issues as and when needed
- Be an advocate for and implementer of security best practices
- Adopt and apply industry technology best practices
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 + years of software development experience
- 5+ years of backend technology experience, such as Java, Spring Boot, NodeJS, Kafka
- 5+ years of database experience including relational databases like Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL, and non-relational databases like MongoDB
- 5+ years of experience in architecting, designing, and delivering scalable microservices-based applications
- 5+ years partnering with architecture, product, and program management teams to influence product development decisions
- 5+ years of experience working on a project using mature CI/CD practices, source control such as git, and automated testing framework – like JBehave, Cucumber etc
- 4+ years of working with large public cloud technologies i.e. GCP , AWS, Azure
- 1+ years of experience in using Graph QL schema and APIs. Troubleshoots and resolves performance issues, scalability and responsiveness.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Healthcare Domain experience
- Hands-on AI/ML (including GenAI) experience and hands-on expertise with automating processes.
- Experience building and operating large scale distributed systems.
- Have a strong desire to mentor and coach other engineers.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to change requirements.
- Strong understanding of observability and using telemetry to inform decision making.
- Proficient understanding of different infrastructure architecture design
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree or, equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
