THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota is seeking a Principal PEGA software developer! This role involves designing and developing innovative applications using the PEGA platform to support BlueCross’s mission of inspiring change, transforming care, and improving health for the people they serve. The ideal candidate will have experience with PEGA development within the healthcare industry and a strong understanding of application development delivery.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

• 7+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
• Cloud Service Provider Certification (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, etc.) – required within 1 year of employment.
• Essential Candidate Qualities:
• Creative thinking, strong communication skills, creativity, curiosity, self-motivated, time managements skills.
• In depth experience with and knowledge of the following: Pega PCRC, Java, REST, OOP, HTML, SQL Database and AWS

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Development experience using PEGA.
• Strong preference for candidates with healthcare industry experience.
• Experience with agile, DevOps, IT Service Management, and other development and support processes and methodologies.
