Description
Network Architecture & Optimization: Lead the design and implementation of our next-generation vehicle networking architecture, focusing on baselining and optimizing T1S network bandwidth and load assumptions. Protocol Management: Oversee the implementation of critical messaging retry strategies on UDP and integration of message E2E protection and security measures. TSN & AVB Implementation: Utilize deep domain expertise in TSN and AVB to prioritize messages, manage time-sensitive networking tasks, and safeguard audio and control system quality of service (QoS). Cross-Network Integration: Implement TC10 sleep wake across T1S and 1000BaseT1 networks and manage VLAN setup on network switches. Team Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor and guide engineering teams, instilling modern coding standards and fostering an environment of innovation and excellence. Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with internal and external networking standards while accommodating various system architectures and protocols. Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. 15+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly with embedded systems and real-time network protocols. Proficiency in C/C++, embedded Linux, RTOS, and advanced networking technologies including Ethernet variations (10BASE-T1S to 100GbE). Demonstrated experience with IEEE AVB/TSN standards and quality assurance practices in safety-critical environments. Certified in ISO 26262 and other relevant standards In-depth understanding of QoS for audio and control systems, having led multiple high-stake projects in autonomous and safety-critical system architecture.
