WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

As our Principal Software Engineer, you’ll be at the helm of our technical innovation. Your day-to-day will be a thrilling mix of:

  • Architecting the Future: Design and implement groundbreaking features that prioritize scalability and long-term impact. Your code will shape how students learn for years to come.
  • Bridging Visions: Collaborate with our product visionaries, translating their dreams into technical realities. Lead discussions that align our features with our ambitious educational goals.
  • Guarding the Gates: Be the vigilant protector of our products’ stability. Fine-tune performance, predict potential issues, and swiftly resolve any that arise.
  • Making Big Moves: Take charge of high-stakes technical decisions that directly influence user experiences and our ability to scale. Your choices will resonate through every line of code and every student’s learning journey.

WHAT YOU WILL NOT BE DOING

We value your expertise and want to ensure your time is spent where it matters most. Here’s what you won’t find on your to-do list:

  • Tech Trend Hopping: No chasing after the latest buzzwords or jumping between short-lived projects. We’re in it for the long haul, focusing on sustainable innovation.
  • Backroom Coding: Say goodbye to working on internal IT systems or outsourced projects that never see the light of day. Your code will directly impact real students and teachers.
  • Meeting Marathons: We respect your time and creative flow. Expect focused, productive discussions instead of endless meetings.
  • Infrastructure Firefighting: Our systems are designed to let you focus on innovation, not on putting out fires. No more getting bogged down by tedious infrastructure issues.
