The Mastercard/Ethoca Consumer Clarity team is looking for a seasoned Principal software development engineer to join our engineering team to help lead, design, architect, and modernize solutions using advanced Cloud technologies and applications that are revolutionizing Subscription Management space.
As a Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for driving the design, architecture, and delivery of high-performance, high-throughput, highly available, resilient and scalable software solutions serving across the globe. You will work on mission-critical systems, primarily focusing on backend technologies, and guide teams to build robust applications using Spring Boot, Java, Azure, CosmosDB, Postgres, etc.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary based on location, experience and other qualifications for the role and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role.
