The ideal candidate is skilled at design and implementation, able to own large architectural designs and collaborate well across multiple partner teams. As a Principal Software Engineer on the Edge Engineering Systems team, you will be part of a team passionate about enhancing developer productivity by building and supporting high-performance, large-scale Azure-based cloud services integrated into Windows, Mac, and Linux and mobile development environments. You will work within the Edge client codebase (derived from the Chromium Project), with Azure DevOps, and multiple Azure technologies such as Cosmos DB, Service Fabric, App Service, Kubernetes Service, and many others. You will get to collaborate with a diverse community of engineers and help with AI adoption across entire development cycle. Our team uses a variety of Microsoft and open-source technologies to support Edge on all platforms where our customers are.
