Description
Influence Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) technical direction and long-term vision across teams and member organizations by contributing to, maintaining, or initiating projects relevant to Azure Data Manager for Energy (ADME) mission in OSDU. Actively engage in the OSDU milestone capabilities selection and scoping process. Lead and mentor engineering teams across multiple energy projects in the OSDU community. Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, vulnerability management, and compliance standards. Engage in the community through active participation in the OSDU community review process. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python 2+ years of familiarity with Artificial-Intelligence/Machine-Learning (AI/ML) applications in operational environments. 2+ years of big data technologies and analytics platforms; Spark, Elastic Search, Databricks, and/or Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) experience. Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 12+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python. OR equivalent experience. 1+ year(s) of working knowledge of the Open Subsurface Data Universe (OSDU) platform, including data ingestion workflows, manifest files, and metadata standards. 1+ year(s) of proficiency in the Energy or industrial sectors where OSDU is applied.
