We are seeking a Principal Software Engineer to work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO. This position requires an active Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

• Previous experience working in Missile Defense Agency C2BMC Program
• Must possess IAT Level II certification.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance is required prior to start date. (with SCI eligibility)

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare, RedHat Openstack, or Nutanix
• Experience with Linux and/or Windows Server system administration
• Experience with a scripting language such as Bash, Python, PowerShell, or Ansible
• Experience working within a Scrum team in an Agile environment
• Experience with agile development methodologies
• Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
• Prior integration and test experience within the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

• Experience working with Missile Defense Agency
• Previous experience on the C2BMC Program
• Experience developing CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab
• Scrum Master experience

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Specific tasks will include but are not limited to:

• As the DevOps Software Engineer on the C2BMC-Global team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing a complex hyperconverged cloud infrastructure on the Nutanix platform. The DevOps Engineer will develop and maintain automated deployment scripts using tools such as Ansible or Terraform, collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.
