The Real-Time Embedded Systems discipline within CDS is responsible for the foundational software layer that abstracts the hardware and manages the resources for engine control and prognostic and health management applications for P&W engines using state of the art technologies, tools & methodologies. Responsibilities: Author requirements, capture designs and write low-level software for embedded target processors in C language Debug software on target platform Perform hardware software integration testing Capture standard work Identify key process improvements to increase efficiency Mentor early career engineers Participate in stand-ups with CDS Product Managers Present as needed to Component Integration Product Team (CIPT) Qualifications You Must Have Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 8 years of engineering experience, or an Advanced Degree and 5 years’ experience.
