About the role: V2 Digital is looking for a skilled Principal (Software Engineer) with experience in the Information Technology and Services industry to join our dynamic team. As a Principal, you'll play a key role in leading and executing critical software development projects, defining technical standards, and delivering quality software solutions to our clients. What your day looks like: Lead software development projects for our clients, defining technical standards and driving development and delivery processes. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify the best possible technical solutions to client problems. Develop high-quality, extensible, and maintainable code that adheres to V2 Digital's coding standards and best practices. Design and implement software features that are scalable, robust, and efficient. Perform code reviews and provide feedback to team members on coding practices. Mentor junior members of the team, promoting continuous learning and development of skills. Work with client stakeholders to identify technical requirements and communicate status and progress on projects. What's required: 8 years + experience in software engineering Extensive experience in building distributed, scalable systems. 4 years + demonstrated experience in leading technical teams and projects. Consultancy and Presales experience Experience with modern software development practices and methodologies, including Agile, Continuous Integration, and DevOps. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to deliver results on complex, time-bound projects.
