Responsibilities Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions Apply strong knowledge of how products and services are built, deployed, and evolved in a DevOps-managed production environment Lead and execute rapid technology “spikes” or proofs of concept to validate new features and services Work in an agile, highly collaborative environment and partner with commerce and cross-functional teams to build cross-service integrations Communicate clearly and effectively, whether writing code, documentation, emails, or explaining complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Continuously seek improvements in engineering practices, developer productivity, testing strategies, and deployment velocity Demonstrate a reliable and accountable work ethic, taking ownership of initiatives and fostering strong performance across the team Analyze, monitor, and improve service efficiency, scalability, and reliability Qualifications Required Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field and 8+ years of technical engineering experience coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, .NET, or Python, or equivalent experience Demonstrated experience as a software engineer building commercial software, with a proven track record of shipping successful products and services Experience designing end-user applications using modern, web-based technologies with a strong focus on user experience 8+ years of experience driving and managing technical and architectural dependencies, with proficiency in C#, .NET, JavaScript, or equivalent languages or frameworks Preferred Qualification Hands-on application development experience using ASP.NET and Azure PaaS services, including Web Apps, Function Apps, Service Bus, Event Hub, REST APIs, SQL, and NoSQL Experience with software development tools such as source control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, software validation systems, project tracking, and lifecycle management tools Development experience on cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, with expertise in React and Node.js Other Requirements Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. Responsibilities

The Principal Software Engineering Manager will design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions while leading technology initiatives. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance service efficiency, scalability, and reliability.
