In this estimating organization, the employee will be responsible for the preparation of various types of proposals for development, production and competitive contracts including modifications to existing contracts. In addition, the estimating organization supports gate reviews, government audits and negotiations with the customer. What You Will Do Support the development and understanding of proposals Work with functions from across the company to develop the labor, material and other direct costs associated with proposed contracts Utilize company estimating and pricing programs and tools Develop detailed bidding guidelines which are used to kick off proposals Provide estimating support for the development of Basis of Estimates to include validating and analyzing actuals, ensuring consistency within task descriptions, and confirming estimating approach is sound Prepare and present limited complexity Submit Gate charts for program/company leadership review of proposal information Ensure proposals comply with basic FAR and internal requirements Assess and formulate potential solutions leading to a thorough proposal submittal Ability and willingness to gain special access clearance to work activities as appropriate. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years experience Experience with Microsoft Office products, ex. The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
