Your responsibilities will include: Coordinate forecasts of all international bandwidth demand in Vodacom Group and coordinate the procurement of such in most cost-effective manner Contribute to the International Connectivity Strategy, Capacity Plan and long-term Sourcing Framework for all Vodacom OPCOs, based on traffic projections Assist to manage investments in new cable systems and upgrades on existing systems (business cases, approvals, representation on cable consortiums) Coordinate international capacity inventory, activations & de-activations and perform route management between International Network nodes Contribute to International Network budgets, process payments and identify cost efficiency improvements Provide input to and manage Recovery and Restoration Plans for Vodacom international traffic Provide support to Vodacom OPCOs, Wholesale and Enterprise units, and provide input to capacity costing on International Connectivity Participate in the development of regional and cross-border transmission networks Minimum 5 years' experience in Subsea Technology (Essential) In-depth knowledge of the submarine telecoms industry, technology and how cable consortium are structures and managed Well-developed commercial and financial principles related to business plans, contracts, quotations and negotiations Wholesale telecoms business Sound understanding of the law of contract and telecommunication regulations Interpersonal skills, Rational thinking, Analytical skills, Negotiation skills, Presentation skills, Communication skills, Problem solving skills
