QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5 years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience is required
  • Prior procurement experience is required
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

  • Experience in Government procurement
  • SAP experience
  • Ability to analyze Cost and Pricing data and determine proposal compliance (FAR 15.4)
  • Demonstrated knowledge / compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFARS)
  • Ability to understand technical requirements for procured hardware and services including Statement of Work (SOW) review
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively in a dynamic, fast paced, changing environment.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal internal customers.
Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Review drawings, specifications, and purchase history to determine sourcing strategy
  • Work with and review Statement of Work (SOW) documents
  • Prepare and issue RFQs (requests for quotes)
  • Review quotes, analyze results and lead negotiation plans / strategies as well as address any exceptions to flow downs, specifications, quality notes, or Raytheon terms and condition requirements
  • Formally document purchase orders per internal procedures
  • Perform routine post-award management activities
  • Significant supplier interaction in collaboration with Program Integrated Product Teams (IPTs)
  • Able to support travel (up to 25%)

THIS POSITION CURRENTLY IS DESIGNATED AS REMOTE. EMPLOYEES WHO ARE WORKING IN REMOTE ROLES WILL WORK PRIMARILY OFFSITE (FROM HOME) BUT MAY BE EXPECTED TO TRAVEL TO THE SITE LOCATION AS NEEDED. THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE WILL BE REQUIRED TO RESIDE AND WORK FROM ONE OF THE 50 U.S. STATES (EXCLUDING U.S. TERRITORIES).

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
