This is a senior, high-impact role for an economics authority who can shape forward-thinking perspectives and represent Mintel’s voice globally. About the Role As Principal Strategist, you will: Act as a trusted advisor to global clients, translating complex economic trends into actionable foresight. Deliver keynote presentations, executive workshops, and client webinars. Represent Mintel publicly through conferences, media commentary, and marketing campaigns. Develop proprietary content and influence syndicated insight strategy. Partner across Commercial, Consulting, Marketing, and Insights teams to amplify impact. What Success Looks Like Improved client retention and growth through strategic engagements. Increased Mintel brand visibility as a leading expert on economic policy and consumer markets. Thought leadership that shapes industry conversations. What We’re Looking For 10+ years’ experience in economics and consumer research. Proven track record in thought leadership and strategic foresight. Strong commercial awareness and client-facing experience. Exceptional communication skills with executive presence.
