Who We Need Sabel Systems is looking for a leader to continue the rapid expansion of our Digital Offerings. We have a rapidly growing team of digital acquisition, engineering, and sustainment experts assisting the Army, Air Force, Space Force, and USMC in adopting digital and industry 4.0. Sabel Systems wants to maintain its leadership of this area for DoD and Industry. We are seeking an innovator who can dynamically switch from customer to Sabel Solutions, to solution team engagement. Lead and guide Agile solution delivery teams Mentor and guide customers through requirements capture, prioritization, and trade-off decisions for cost, schedule, and capability Engage customer management and governance bodies to help them effectively fund and staff digital transformations Assist customers in navigating, integrating, or challenging competing agendas and status-quo protectors Continuously expand our solutions and sustain our reputation for rapidly onboarding DoD customers into effective digital engineering and Industry 4.0 environments across multiple cloud and classification levels Build partnerships with complementary firms and solution providers Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Job Qualifications Required Qualifications Applicable experience to understand and optimize DoD Acquisition and Sustainment missions and objectives IT solution road-mapping and architecture experience A passion for and understanding of weapon system engineering, product lifecycle management, and associated tools Experience delivering IT solutions in commercial or DoD systems engineering, manufacturing, product development, or maintenance repair and overhaul organizations Experience and understanding of CAD, CAM, CAE, PLM, MBSE, Digital Thread, and Digital Twin Ability to rapidly assess and effectively employ digital engineering and PLM solutions across cloud, on-premise, and classified environments Ability to translate technical terminology into content customers can understand and support Willingness to assist solution delivery teams directly when needed Project management experience An entrepreneurial spirit and mindset Ability to seek guidance from expert staff and partners to ensure solutions meet customer needs within cost and schedule constraints Bachelor’s degree Minimum 5 years of Project/Program Management experience on technically complex efforts Experience designing or handling data across applications Experience costing projects and balancing customer and organizational financial needs Advanced understanding of business analysis techniques and processes Consulting experience or strong interest in learning consulting project management Ability to obtain DoD Secret and Top-Secret Security Clearance US Citizenship Preferred Qualifications Significant Army and Navy domain expertise Robust Model-Based System Engineering implementation and leadership experience Direct experience within or in support of a DoD Weapon System Acquisition program, Milestone A to C. Salary and Benefits The range for this position is between $200,000 and $250,000. Actual salary will be negotiated with this position’s Hiring Manager and can vary depending on the following factors: Billable contract and labor category, experience, skills, education /certifications/ licenses & geographic location.
