Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This is a technical role focused within technical organizations. As a Technical Product Manager, you will define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and execution by collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric software solutions aligned with business objectives. You will serve as a subject matter expert for complex BSS/OSS products and play a critical role in shaping AT&T’s technical product strategy.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop a clear technical product vision and strategy by understanding customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape. Define and prioritize the technical product roadmap in collaboration with business, architecture, UX, engineering, and other product managers.
  • Guide product development through detailed software product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Ensure product viability, desirability, and alignment with business goals by setting success criteria and monitoring performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Architecture and Engineering teams on technical design and manage critical dependencies to enable smooth delivery.
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions, feature prioritization, and timing negotiations with stakeholders to align on optimal technical solutions.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience throughout the product lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning and feature refinement, providing guidance and resolving questions as needed.
  • Lead initiatives spanning multiple technical product lines or platforms. Mentor less experienced product managers and collaborate with leadership to shape organizational technical product strategies.
  • Write features and set direction for groups of teams or epics that guide multiple teams across platforms.
