Principal Treatment Engineer – Water      This is a senior technical opportunity within WSP’s national Water and Wastewater Treatment team, suited to an experienced treatment engineer with strong technical judgement, client focus, and leadership capability.     As a Principal Treatment Engineer, you will provide expert advice across water and/or wastewater treatment projects, leading complex investigations and designs from concept through to construction. You’ll work closely with multidisciplinary teams and clients, shaping high‑quality outcomes while mentoring others and promoting technical excellence across the business.      The role   * Provide senior technical leadership on water and/or wastewater treatment projects * Lead and review investigations, feasibility studies, designs and technical reports * Apply sound engineering judgement across design, verification and peer review * Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary project teams * Build and maintain strong client relationships, clearly communicating technical solutions * Contribute to bids and proposals, including technical inputs and risk considerations * Mentor and support engineers and graduates, fostering a culture of excellence   About you   * Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical/Process, Civil or Mechanical) * Preferably minimum of 10 - 15 years’ professional experience in a related discipline * Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) or equivalent (or working towards) * Extensive experience in water and/or wastewater treatment engineering * Proven experience providing technical leadership and review * Strong communication skills and a client‑focused mindset * A collaborative approach and commitment to professional standards     Imagine a better future for you and a better future for us all.
