Title: Principal UX Engineer Location: Poland; Remote Experience: Senior Job Function: Engineering Employment Type: Full-Time Industry: Computer & Network Security ABOUT THE POSITION We are seeking an experienced Principal UX Engineer / Head of UX to lead the end-to-end user experience strategy across our entire product portfolio. This role blends strategic leadership, hands-on UX excellence, and cross-functional coordination. You will drive consistency across multiple products with cloud, on-prem, and hybrid deployment models while ensuring intuitive, high-quality user experiences. This is a remote position based out of Poland and will be engaged through a third-party employment provider. Applicants must hold a valid Right to Work in Poland. RESPONSIBILITIES UX Strategy & Leadership Develop and own the holistic UX vision and strategy for a complex multi-product ecosystem. Establish UX principles, design standards, and governance models. Champion human-centered design and advocate for UX at all organizational levels. Design System & Cross-Product Consistency Lead the creation and adoption of a scalable design system. Ensure UX consistency across products, platforms, and deployment environments. Align design standards with technical feasibility and engineering constraints. Execution & Delivery Oversee research, journey mapping, prototyping, and usability testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create intuitive interaction models. Review designs and implemented UI to maintain quality standards. Lead UX architecture decisions involving navigation, workflow, and information structure. Leadership & Collaboration Mentor UX designers, engineers, and researchers. Facilitate cross-team workshops to drive alignment. Support product planning through UX insights and impact assessments. User Advocacy & Research Promote data-driven decision-making through research and analytics. Share user insights and establish UX KPIs. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Required 8+ years of experience in UX or interaction design. Experience leading UX efforts across multiple complex products. Ability to drive consistent UX patterns across cloud/on-prem/hybrid deployments. Strong portfolio showing system-level design thinking. Familiarity with front-end engineering concepts. Excellent cross-functional communication skills. Preferred Experience in enterprise or complex technical product environments. Background in building or scaling a design system. Knowledge of accessibility standards. Leadership or mentorship experience. Success Metrics Improved usability and consistency across the portfolio. Adoption of unified design systems and UX governance. Enhanced UX KPIs such as user satisfaction and task completion. Reduced UI rework and improved delivery efficiency.
