Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE

As a Principal UX/UI Designer in the Digital Customer Experience Team (DCX) at the Department of Communities and Justice, you will lead a team of designers to deliver accessible, user-centric digital experiences for NSW Courts and Tribunals.
This senior leadership role will shape the future of digital service delivery, ensuring alignment with human-centered design principles and the Digital NSW design system.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As part of the Principal UX-UI designer; you will
Lead end-to-end UX/UI design across discovery, prototyping, and iterative development.
You’ll collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver impactful digital solutions.
Ensure accessibility, usability, and brand alignment across all digital touchpoints.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in service and product design.
Manage complex work packages and contribute to business case development and investment planning.
