Manage, coordinate, and grow weld quality assurance and quality control capabilities as required, to meet current and future business requirements.
Review and accept contractor developed welding procedure specifications.
Review and accept contractor welder performance qualifications.
Review and accept contractor developed Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) procedures.
Complete weld quality surveillance duties.
Collaborate with internal and external organizations including Babcock Engineering & Corporate Quality Assurance, subcontracted weld engineers or weld companies in support of welding and NDE quality, process controls, and performance / procedure qualifications.
