AT&T is looking for a Principal Workplace Planner to direct and coordinate all phases of complex, high-value interior workplace projects, with a focus on occupancy planning, space utilization, workplace design, and change management. Ensure efficient allocation of space and resources, technical excellence, and timely, on-budget project delivery, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and user experience through proactive collaboration with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement workplace strategies that support organizational goals, drive productivity, and enhance employee experience.
  • Conduct in-depth space programming and occupancy analyses to optimize floor plans, allocation, and density while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
  • Lead the design and reconfiguration of office environments to support evolving workstyles, including hybrid, collaborative, and activity-based settings.
  • Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for occupancy and workplace planning projects, from concept through completion.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, managing multiple concurrent initiatives and aligning deliverables with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee vendor selection and management for design, construction, and move services.
  • Implement and enforce rigorous quality control measures, conducting regular site inspections and coordinating with facilities and real estate teams.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business leaders, employees, architects, designers, and contractors to capture requirements, communicate project status, and address concerns.
  • Lead change management initiatives and communications to ensure a smooth transition to new workplace configurations, fostering employee engagement and adoption.
  • Ensure all workplace modifications and occupancy plans prioritize safety, accessibility, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
