Water System Operations & Maintenance Manage daily operations of ultrapure water (UPW), wastewater treatment (WWT), and reclaim systems. Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency response for water-related equipment. Monitor water quality parameters (e.g., pH, SS, COD, Cu, NH₃-N) and ensure compliance with discharge standards. Utilize SCADA/PLC systems for automated control and real-time alerts. 2. Fab Construction & System Commissioning Lead water system design and installation for new fabs, including piping, tanks, pumps, and chemical dosing systems. Coordinate with contractors and internal teams for system commissioning and ramp-up. Review P&ID diagrams, layout drawings, and equipment specifications. 3. System Optimization & Upgrades Drive improvement projects such as sedimentation tank retrofits, sensor upgrades, and chemical dosing accuracy enhancements. Implement advanced treatment technologies (e.g., AOP, membrane filtration, ion exchange) for high-COD or metal-containing wastewater. 4. Ensure operations meet local and national discharge standards (e.g., Taiwan EPA Stage II regulations for Cu, NH₃-N, etc.). Prepare daily trend reports and SPC charts using tools like Power BI3. Participate in audits and support regulatory inspections. 5. Mentor junior engineers and technicians in system operations and troubleshooting. Develop SOPs and training materials for routine and abnormal scenarios. Required Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. Minimum 5 years of experience in semiconductor water treatment systems. Proficient in UPW, WWT, reclaim, and chemical dosing systems. Familiar with SCADA/PLC, P&ID, and environmental regulations. Knowledge of advanced treatment technologies (e.g., AOP, RO, UF, MF). Certified in hazardous chemical handling or wastewater operations.
Responsibilities
Manage daily operations of ultrapure water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Lead water system design and installation for new fabs and drive improvement projects for system optimization.
