As we continue to expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Print Machinist to join our production team.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• At least 1-year proven experience as a Print Machinist in a commercial printing environment
• Sound knowledge of print machinery and printing processes
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Trade qualification in Printing or relevant industry experience (preferred)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Print Machinist to operate, maintain and oversee printing machines and ensure optimal print quality and production efficiency.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your duties will include:

• Setting up and operating sheet-fed, web-fed, flexographic, gravure, and other printing machines
• Monitoring print quality throughout the production process and making necessary adjustments
• Mixing ink and adjusting colour settings according to print specifications
• Loading paper and other printing substrates into machines
• Maintaining machinery, cleaning parts, and performing minor repairs
• Following safety and quality control procedures to ensure consistent production output
• Coordinating with team members to meet production targets and deadlines
• Identifying and resolving any printing errors or mechanical issues quickly and efficiently
