Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE SUMMARY:

The purpose of this role is to check all labels prior to them being issued to Line Leaders, to print and prepare all labels for production and to report any problems found immediately to the Printroom Supervisor. This should be done by means of effective communication, reporting and monitoring. Carrying out general administrative duties as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure company Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times in line with legal requirements.
  • Ensure company Food Hygiene policies and procedures are adhered to at all times in line with legal requirements.
  • Communicate with Section Managers and Line Leaders daily.
  • Co-ordinate the fetching and checking of labels in accordance with production planning demands.
  • Complete all necessary documentation.
  • Monitor the request for additional labels and report these issues to the Printroom directly in order that down time can be reduced.
  • Keep all label folders up to date and tidy at all times. Ensure printing knowledge is current.
  • Full fill training requirements deemed necessary for your role to allow efficient performance of duties and assist in your performance development.
  • Any other reasonable duties.
  • Print all labels efficiently and to the specification required for daily production orders
  • Scan all labels making sure they are printed correctly
  • Ensure that all label check procedures are always followed and signed by the correct personnel before ANY labels leave the print room
  • Record any printing errors caused by wrong information for further references
  • Responsible for labels stock reconciliations
  • Keeping all labels, ribbons stocked up
  • To ensure cleanliness of printing equipment and working area - clean as you go
